Pamela Anderson's tragic real-life story reads like a movie script. First, she accidentally became famous after being spotted on a jumbotron, then she used her growing relationship with "Playboy" to build a solid career, not just as a bombshell but also as an actress on "Baywatch" and "Home Improvement." A number of harrowing lows, failed marriages, and controversial moments followed. So, when the Canadian beauty decided to put down her life on paper, she had an instant hit on her hands. In January 2023, Anderson released her memoir, "Love, Pamela," accompanied by a Netflix documentary titled "Pamela, a Love Story." The book snagged the No. 2 spot on The New York Times bestsellers list in its first week and she couldn't have been happier. "Thank you from the depths of my heart," she wrote on Instagram. "Dreams do come true, when you least expect it ... never give up."
The tome's appeal was in large part due to the fact that it's packed with headline-making revelations. Some even launched their own controversies, including Anderson's allegations that Tim Allen once flashed her on the set of "Home Improvement." Another buzzed-about admission involved her deep-set feelings for ex-hubby Tommy Lee to whom she was married from 1994 to 1998 and with whom she has two sons, Brandon and Dylan. Her surprising profession of love ignited an apparent feud with Lee's new lady and we're breaking down the drama below.
How the alleged Brittany Furlan and Pamela Anderson feud began

Pamela Anderson will always have a special place in her heart for her ex-husband Tommy Lee. As she confessed in her 2023 memoir, "Love, Pamela,"(via People)"My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love."However, she knew she had to leave when Lee became physically abusive. "The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life," she wrote. "I was crushed."
Following those revelations, Lee's current wife, Brittany Furlan (whom he married in 2019), took to TikTok to deliver a darkly comedic response that didn't sit well with many. In a since-deleted video, she wrote "Pam if I died" and pretended to be the "Baywatch" star, making sad faces, then shrugging off the news and cozying up to Tommy Lee. According to TMZ which saw the clip, Furlan took things one step further by using a "90s Pam Makeup" filter. Meanwhile, in the caption, Furlan wrote, "Pls guys I gotta make jokes it's how I cope." Unfortunately, folks didn't take it as a joke and she was slammed by critics.
Interestingly, Anderson appeared to want nothing but the best for her ex and his new bride. Speaking with Howard Stern in January 2023, she shared that she and Lee still text occasionally and noted, "He's married and happy, and she's good to him and I totally support that and think that's great."

Brittany Furlan's TikTok video imitating Pamela Anderson was met with serious backlash and she quickly took it down. She also spoke with TMZ to clarify her stance, saying she has no ill will towards Anderson. Rather, she said she simply found the video to be funny, as did Tommy Lee who saw it before it went live. The online personality and stand-up comic also shared how she was being bombarded by hate from Anderson fans who'd like to see her get back together with Lee.
She released a second TikTok video (which was also deleted but seen by People) in which she claimed she was the target of online hate following Anderson's proclamations of love for Lee. However, she assured that she wasn't letting it get to her. "Don't worry about the people that are saying all the mean things they're saying," she told fans. "I don't live in that world, so please don't stress." The same goes for Lee. "I'm lucky to have a really loving husband who honestly laughs all the stuff off and could care less," she said.
So where do Anderson and Furlan stand today? When TMZ caught up with her in Los Angeles following a comedy show on April 1, 2023, she shared that Anderson hadn't reached out to her, but that she'd be totally down to talk. "We're all good," she added. "We want happiness, we want everyone to be friends."
